CARPET TILE
The Gaenslen Library redesign is part of a larger initiative to improve learning in Milwaukee Public Schools. The updates to the library have increased not just the visibility of titles but accessibility for students of all levels and abilities. The library and it’s dedicated break out areas – with themes like “The Great Lakes Corner” and “The Reading Forest” – are defined by variations of carpet tile from Interface in patterns that guide students through an immersive and fun learning experience. The products you see here are aptly named for this space; Interface’s Human Nature, Urban Retreat, Whole Earth, and Net Effect Collections contribute to the intention of this beautifully redesigned library.
